michelle obama's speech at the dnc

michelle obama speaks at the democratic national convention august 25th 2008.

her speech was truly amazing. only heard her voice once before and that was during the colbert report a while back i think. i almost wanted to cry. hell, she might just be faking it but judging from the way she speaks, i thought she actually really believed what she said.

i'd suggest you watch the clips when you have the time. i'm not even sure if barack himself can do better than her.

i thought what happened after the speech ended was a bit cheesy with barack joining her and the daughters via video feed. i'm sure there are other worse ways to portray a middle class american family. but whatevs.

the first presidential fist bump/ dap

it didn't look cool when tobi tried to do the fist bump with jim when he returned to scranton.

but i guess when a presidential candidate does the fist bumping right, it's cool again?
