fox-o-shop

vanity fair posted a bunch of photoshopped images of fox news anchors last night i think. i thought it's a pretty hilarious collection. job well done. it's pretty childish and juvenile to hit back at fox news with this, but the pictures are pretty hilarious. and fox news actually deserve this.

i dont know why they decided to photoshop the pictures of the nytimes reporters in the first place, but for a news network to do such a thing is actually pretty low. i just do not understand why people actually watch fox news. and it's one of the most watched network too!

doodling and sketching

got super bored the other day and started doodling stuff. then i ended up drawing these jackets and coats. i dunno how i feel about these. i thought they're kinda shitty but i kinda would like to wear some of em. all i wanted to do was play around with sinuous curves.

i wanted to use that whole divine proportion/ golden ratio of phi = 1.618 but it's kinda hard to do so to look right. in this case, the ratio would be the length of top curve over lower curve separated by the inflection point.

in general the buttons are exponentially proportioned in a way.
also used rectangular buttons.
the back collar is higher than the front.
the cuffs are kinda like morticia addams weird. i dunno if it'd even make sense.











i really like the idea of cloak (partial or full length). i dunno why people don't wear 'em. obviously old people and ugly betty wear them (poncho) but i srsly think it's a good look. maybe not everyone can pull it off though. i've never even tried one on.









i like this one only because this sketch looks like a person bending over. lol. kinda gross, i know.

and then there's the fencing jackets. robert geller designed one but cant find it. i think super cropped jackets are awesome. especially for shorter guys (who are thin).

wowow really lazy lately! i've been catching up on this manga called one piece that i haven't read in five years. basically catching up to about 400 chapters, which is ridiculous. why do japanese people have to be so crazy awesome?

i mean, srsly, a good chef fighting an evil chef who's secret power is strapping noodles around in a train car that actually travels on a rail floating over a dangerous sea. like, really, how much pot do these japanese people smoke every day?

i guess i'm gonna start showing my photography collections from the past two and a half years. the humidity in malaysia kinda turns me off and makes me not want to take photos outside. plus, i'd need a polarizing filter to take day photos here too. and that type of filter is expensive.

anyway, here's a photo of eiffel tower when i visited paris a couple winters ago. i think i wanna visit paris again at some point. i realized that i can stay in paris for a maximum of three months without a visa!

bought this book for 16 bucks from kinokuniya. supposed to be on sale. then i found it on amazon for 12 bucks. i'm pretty pissed.



anyway, i found this design by aisslinger in the book and i got kinda pissy cuz it's basically like the design i sketched up on this blog a little while ago.

hipster underwear

oh yes, i've always wanted one of these. that's why i bought them at marks and spencer. a pack of three for about twenty bucks is a pretty good deal. check other designs here >>>

i really like my current bunch of boxers but even the really short ones aren't as short as the hipsters. i guess it'd be more comfy wearing ridiculously skinny pants with these hipsters.

it's really hard doing self-portrait without a remote release. to make it worse, i gave away my tripods to goodwill before i moved ;/

i wish i were three to four inches taller, the proportion of the jacket to the pants would be fuckin perfect. now i wish i could just eat a bit of my own thighs. need to start workin out at some point soon. been eating the spiciest foods since i got to malaysia.

and the past couple days i've been getting this really bad heartburns. i checked webmd and i might, in the future, get duodenal gastric ulcer if i dont watch what i eat. goddamnit. i've never had problem with food before. fuckin-tastic.
