not crazy about today's collections. but here are some that i kinda like
watanabe
more after the jump
watanabe
hey, i've seen a bunch of these douchy-looking hipsters roaming the streets in the hipster triangle (los feliz, silverlake, echo park). and i can swear that most of those guys who wear the black rim glasses + hat have serious case of receding hairline.
the cuffs are so high it doesn't look so nice to roll em up that high. if i were to show my kankles, i'd cuff my pants an inch or two above.
mugler
blaak
gaultier
galliano - someone made a printed coat! i made mine out of my chem105a lab coat for halloween sophomore year. mine is basically called the book of steve of our RA at college.
i think i like my coat more, because the whole floor residents basically wrote a book about steve and then i transfered the writing onto the coat. plus i dont look like carrot top.
givenchy
i feel like for the milan and paris runway, i keep seeing cropped leggings/ tights underneath the shorts. i always thought that's a pretty neat look but only for cropped leggings that stops just below the knee.
i remember i saw this a month ago on a look book on skeleton legs for the d line by tass standard ss 08. link here >>>. i'm glad other people are catching up.
i was really looking forward to kris van assche's collection but i thought his presentation was weak. so i'm not posting any pics of his. he better deliver dior's runway show tomorrow. then again, what i remember is that his accessories for last year's runway weren't the ones that went into production cuz i dont remember seeing the hi tops i bought on last year's SS08 runway. i'm crossing my fingers.
