racist republicans #01

at a rally

mccain: who is the real barack obama?
supporter: terrorist!

at another rally (washington post)
palin: now it turns out, one of his earliest supporters is a man named bill ayers.
crowd: boooo!
palin: and, according to the new york times, he was a domestic terrorist and part of a group that, quote, 'launched a campaign of bombings that would target the Pentagon and our u.s. capitol.
crowd: boooo!
man: kill him!
of course, in the specific context of palin's rally, the man most likely meant ayers when he said "kill him!". but the fact that the first guy called obama a terrorist should pretty much bring secret service into this matter, no?

one other rally (washington post)
worse, palin's routine attacks on the media have begun to spill into ugliness. in clearwater, arriving reporters were greeted with shouts and taunts by the crowd of about 3,000. palin then went on to blame katie couric's questions for her "less-than-successful interview with kinda mainstream media." at that, palin supporters turned on reporters in the press area, waving thunder sticks and shouting abuse. others hurled obscenities at a camera crew. one palin supporter shouted a racial epithet at an african american sound man for a network and told him, "sit down, boy."
jacksonville, fl today
palin: [obama] said, too, that our troops in afghanistan are 'air raiding villages and killing civilians. i hope americans know that is not what our brave men and women in uniform are doing in afghanistan.
supporter: treason!

seriously, what is wrong with these fanatics?
